Nicholas Port

Nick has worked in the fitness industry since 2010, and has been heavily involved in the design and delivery of fitness programs for older adults from the beginning. Nick has designed and delivered older adults class formats including chairobics, senior circuits, classes for non-English speakers, for indigenous Australians, classes for older adults with acquired brain injuries, amongst others. Nick has worked in both the community and private gym environments, having worked for the YMCA, Goodlife and Genesis Health Clubs, the City of Moreland, Stonington and Melbourne in his time. Nick continues to design and deliver older adults classes as well as freestyle spin, kettlebells, TRX, core, Les Mills Body Pump and CX Worx, stretch, HIIT, Tabata and circuit classes. Nick has worked as a personal trainer, floor trainer and group fitness manager. Nick's philosophy to training is that access to heath and fitness opportunities, and the chance to be strong and healthy is a basic human right, and we must ensure that everyone has access to exercise, especially the most vulnerable in our community.
