You will be given an online log in when you enrol to complete these questions in your own time before the face to face workshop. This is an open book test and you will be required to answer all questions correctly. All questions relate to your course book which you will have read beforehand. You will have three opportunities to complete this test and will receive feedback after each attempt.

Practical assessment: The second part of your assessment is a short presentation on the second day of the workshop. You will be presenting to the group and the assessment consists of conducting one warm up of any variety of five minutes, a five minute chair based routine, and a five minute free form class. In the practical we work to support and help you feel fully confident in what you are presenting - fully ready to go out to run classes straight away.

What Happens if I Fail the Assessments?

If you fail your first attempt at the online assessment, you will be given guidance and another two attempts to pass. We will contact you to talk through any difficulties you might be having and to help you through this process. The theory is a hurdle assessment to allow you to attend the face to face workshop. In your face to face workshop assessments, we provide you with your marking rubric at the start of the workshop so you're aware of what you need to do to pass. If you do not meet the pass requirements in your first assessment, you will have a chance to present again at the end of class. Your trainer will give robust feedback and let you know what is required to come up to standard. If this is still not satisfactory, you will be given the opportunity to attend another workshop on a later date within 12 months, subject to availability.
